DY surge protectors are designed according to IEC and GB standards.
Applied to the first level protection of power supply systems, the product adopts a standard 35mm rail installation method.
DY surge protector has high lightning current discharge capability, with a maximum single module impulse current of 50KA (10/350us), which can prevent various surges including direct lightning strikes. It is used as the first level surge protection for equipment systems with high lightning risk and ground pressure, and can be combined for single-phase and phase replacement power lines.
Product structure and performance characteristics
This product is an indoor fixed installation voltage switch type SPD with one end, designed according to current national standards such as GB/T18802.1; It has the advantages of high impulse current (limp: 25KA) and low voltage (up: 2.0KV). Its core components are composed of multi-stage graphite gaps, and the reasonable design and precise processing combine the spark gaps together to form a sealed structure, ensuring a safe distance inside the spark gap. Even when surge current passes through, there will be no arc leakage. There is no need to specially reserve space for arc leakage during installation. Stable and reliable quality.
The product is installed at the junction of ZCZOA or ZCZOB and ZCZ1 zone, or at the main distribution box (cabinet) where the power supply is introduced, using 35mm standard guide rails for installation. The connecting guide rail adopts 6-35mm multi strand copper flexible wire.
The grounding wire should be a dual color conductor with an area of 16mm ² or more and a length not exceeding 500mm. In order to prevent the failure of surge protectors from affecting the normal operation of the power grid, the protector connected to the L line should be connected in series with a fuse or circuit breaker (note: selected based on the nominal current In).
